Basketball Champions League teams are making moves.

Nizhny Novgorod announced that the club signed Latvian veteran forward Rolands Freimanis for the 2021-22 season. Freimanis was named “Sixth Man of the Year” in the 2020-21 VTB League with Zielona Gora.

Throughout the previous season, Freimanis averaged 17.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 19.2 PIR to lead Zielona Gora to the VTB playoffs for the first time.

Freimanis, 33, will be returning to the Basketball Champions League where he previously played with Anwil in 2019-2020. Nizhny has secured a spot in the regular season of the competition for the next season.

Hapoel Eilat is one of the teams that are hoping to make the Basketball Champions League regular season via the qualifying rounds and officially signed American guard Bryon Allen to help them achieve this goal. Allen, 29, last played in Montenegro with KK Studentski centar.
