Peristeri is adding the experienced forward with a 1+1 year deal

Peristeri is close to signing power forward Linos Chrisikopoulos with a 1+1 year deal, according to Eurohoops sources.

Chrisikopoulos, 28, has also received an offer from Promitheas this offseason, though the player is headed to Peristeri to join the seventh team of his career.

The international forward who took part in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Victoria this summer spent the previous season with AEK and has averaged 8.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 30 games in the Greek Basket League.

So far, Peristeri has signed Christos Saloustros and Terran Petway to contract extensions and has also inked Yanick Moreira, Dimitris Katsivelis, Chad Brown, Josh Hagins, Dimitris Moraitis and Ian Miller.

UPDATE: The deal was officially announced on the 9th of August.
