Quino Colom officially joins AEK

AEK has penned Quino Colom to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday. The deal was previously reported by Eurohoops.

Colom, 32, is set to debut in both the Basketball Champions League and Greece’s Basket League. He comes in with the experience of 59 games in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 37 appearances in the 7DAYS EuroCup. In addition, besides his long career in Spain’s ACB, he has displayed his talents in the VTB United League, Turkey’s BSL, and ABA League.

The experienced point guard, as a member of Crvena Zvezda mts averaged 6.6 points and 2.5 assists per game over eight appearances in the 2020-21 edition of EuroLeague. He finished the season at Baskonia packing 3.2 points per ACB contest.

The team led by Stefanos Dedas had already confirmed acquiring Dimitris Flionis, Panagiotis Filippakos, Giorgos Bogris, and Nikos Pappas, along with youngsters turned pros Michalis Karlis and Kostas Saxionis.
