Jarell Eddie will once again play for SIG Strasbourg and coach Lassi Tuovi

After one-year stints with UCAM Murcia and Fenerbahce BEKO, Jarell Eddie will return to SIG Strasbourg – the team where he started his European career.

Prior to Strasbourg, Eddie played in the NBA and G League. He logged a total of 34 NBA games with four teams – Washington, Phoenix, Boston, Chicago. He played for Fenerbahce last season, averaging eight points on almost 50% three-point shooting.

The player stayed in touch with the Strasbourg coach Lassi Tuovi from their earlier cooperation and the latter is very happy with the reunion. Eddie won the Leaders Cup back in 2019 with the team and was the MVP of the tournament.

“It is a dream for a coach to have such a return player. He has shown how special he is and how much he can make a difference on his own, against any team in Europe. Jarell is a true and pure shooter. But, on top of that, as everyone knows, he’s an amazing man and I think, from that point of view as well, he fits the overall mold perfectly. This team, like last year, will give its best and will play great basketball while having fun on the field and that is why Jarell fits perfectly into this group, of which he will be a very important element. Seeing Matt play we have confirmation of what we thought about the profile of the last player: the priority has always been Jarell Eddie,” the coach said.
