Unicaja Malaga took over late-game and grabbed a 79-62 road win against Nizhny Novgorod in Group C of the Basketball Champions League.

Jaime Fernandez led the charge with 21 points for the victors while Tim Abromaitis added 13 and Norris Cole 12 points. Abromaitis grabbed eight rebounds as well.

He also dished four assists while Fernandez dished six, as they logged 22 and 24 PIR respectively. For Nizhny, Anton Astapkovich and Alexander Gankevich scored 13 each with Lazeric Jones adding 11 points.

Unicaja was ahead in almost every stat, creating points off turnovers and second chances which were definitely killing the opponent’s mentality. Nonetheless, Nizhny managed to stay relatively close (69-62) but the Spaniards went on a 10-0 run to finish the game.
