BAXI Manresa continued with a strong start to the season in the Basketball Champions League with an 88-69 home win against Pinar Karsiyaka.
With this win, Manresa improved to a perfect 4-0 record in Group B and has stayed one of the undefeated teams so far, together with Unicaja Malaga (Group C, 3-0) and Nutribullet Treviso (Group D, 3-0). Karsiyaka now holds a 2-2 record.
Joe Thomasson led the scorers for Manresa with 21 points for the victors while Ismael Bako followed up with 20. Bako was also perfect from the field with 8-8 while also adding 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. He accumulated a total of 36 PIR.
On the opposing side, Amath M’Baye banked in game-high 28 points while Michael Roll added 17.
