With 2021 coming to its end and 2022 just around the corner, the Basketball Champions League picked out the Top 10 Plays of the 2021-22 Regular Season.

The tremendous game-winning buzzer-beater sank by Bonzie Colson sending Pinar Karsiyaka to the away win against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem ranked first. SIG Strasbourg captain DeAndre Lansdowne came in second, while Justin Simon of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg captured both third and eighth places. Jalen Riley, Jerrick Harding, Eric Griffin, Marvin Jones, Al-Wajid Aminu, and Jalen Adams took the remaining spots.

Lansdowne with a magnificent throwdown over the Filou Oostende defense went up to first place in the Top 5 Dunks of December. Simon and Aminu went for second and third, respectively. Denzel Andersson was featured in the fourth spot. Squeezing in fifth was Tyson Carter.

Karsiyaka’s Tony Taylor was the prominent feature in the Top 5 Assists of December thanks to a full-court pass to Amath M’Baye. Nikos Pappas, Jean-Baptiste Maille, and Joe Ragland, along with the BCL MVP of the Month Brandon Brown ranked second through fifth.

Baxi Manresa is scheduled to host Hapoel Jerusalem next Thursday to formally wrap up the Regular Season. The Israeli side can finish second or third in Group E and send Karsiyaka to the opposite seed, while the Spanish outlet at 5-0 has secured the top seed and direct entry into the Round of 16.

Lenovo Tenerife will eventually take on the third-placed team and Prometey will match up with the second-placed team in the Play-In. The remaining six pairings are scheduled to start a best-of-three series Tuesday through Wednesday.
