Kyle Wiltjer and Marcelinho Huertas put on noteworthy displays, leading Tenerife past Rytas in the Basketball Champions League

Lenovo Tenerife turned the tables after a rough start and then held back the multiple comeback efforts of Rytas Vilnius for an 89-75 home win.

The Spaniards improved to a 3-0 record at the top of Group L in the Basketball Champions League while leaving Rytas at 1-2.

Kyle Wiltjer was the main force of Tenerife’s offense with 25 points on 10-14 shooting while Sasu Salin scored 14 and Joan Sastre 12 points.

Marcelinho Huertas continued with his amazing rise on the all-time assists list, adding eight more dishes. It’s his sixth straight BCL game with 8+ assists and he now rose to a total of 293.

For Rytas, Tanner Leissner scored 14 in addition to Lukas Uleckas’ 13 and Ivan Buva’s ten points, Buva also grabbed nine rebounds.
