Falco Szombathely was in a must-win situation against SIG Strasbourg but that wasn’t enough to give them the needed boost and the French team came out victorious with 98-86.

The winner was decided after overtime that was forced by Falco’s huge comeback from down 19 in the third quarter (67-48). However, despite the enormous effort, Falco was totally outplayed in the extra period as Strasbourg went on a 16-4 run to seal the win.

With this outcome, Strasbourg improved to 3-2 in Group L while Falco stayed winless after five games and has lost any chance of advancing further.

Kameron Taylor was the leading scorer for the victors with 18 points followed by DeAndre Lansdowne with 17 and Jean-Baptiste Maille with 16 points.

For Falco, Zoltan Perl tried his best with 24 points and ten rebounds while Gyorgy Goloman helped out with 19.
