Heading to the Quarterfinals of the 2021-22 Basketball Champions League season, fans can enjoy the Top 10 Plays of March, as presented Thursday.

Mindaugas Girdziunas netted the game-winning three-pointer for Rytas Vilnius to edge out SIG Strasbourg at Rhenus Sport on Gameday 4. The team based in the Lithuanian capital did not make it through to the next round, but the experienced guard held his ground for the Top 10’s first place.

Following in second place is another game-winning bucket made the same day, March 8. Troy Caupain sliding through the defense handed Darussafaka the win in the all-Turkish affair opposite Tofas Bursa. At the end of the day, Tofas and Baxi Manresa bested Dacka in a three-way tie to advance.

Darussafaka’s Isaiah Pineiro taking flight and posing for a post-dunk picture landed in the third spot. The Puerto Rican forward’s effort contributed to the Gameday 5 win versus Manresa.

Louisiana Tech product Michale Kyser got the firth place. Combining defense and offense in the away game opposite Galatasaray Nef generated a dunk to resurface the Hapoel U-NET Holon player in yet another installation of BCL Top Plays.

Tofas big man Jeremy Simmons rejecting NutriBullet Treviso’s Aaron Jones and dunking off an assist by Pako Cruz sat him fifth and eighth, respectively. Cameron Oliver registered a couple of appearances as well by providing Unicaja with a strong one-handed dunk for the sixth spot and blocking U-BT Cluj Napoca’s Andrija Stipanovic for the tenth spot.

Falco Szombathely’s Zoltan Perl sent out a crazy behind-the-back assist and Cluj Napoca’s Patrick Richard connected an off-balance triple at the buzzer despite effective defense by Filou Oostende’s Phil Booth to rank seventh and ninth, respectively.
