Galatasaray has a verbal one-year deal with Raymar Morgan, as Eurohoops sources confirm, with the signing being just a formality.

Morgan, who previously played for Tofas and Karşıyaka jerseys in Turkey, averaged 15.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 27 games played with Karsıyaka’s jersey in the Basketball Super League in the 2020-21 season.

The veteran player contributed 17.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 15 games played in the Basketball Champions League.

He then signed for ASVEL, but due to injury woes, he appeared in just one Euroleague game, scoring 12 points.

Galatasaray is also targeting another player who spent time in Karsiyaka, former NBA guard Bonzie Colson.

Turkish reporter Levent Yavuz first reported the imminent signing of Morgan.
