Pinar Karsiyaka signed former EuroCup champion and MVP Errick McCollum for the 2022-23 season, the Turkish club announced. McCollum will make his Basketball Champions League debut with his new team.
This will be McCollum’s fourth stint in Turkey. He played with Galatasaray in 2015-2016 and led the team to the EuroCup championship while being named season MVP, returning to the team halfway through 2016-2017. That summer he joined the ranks of Efes to compete in EuroLeague for the first time in his career.
McCollum, 34, spent last season with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia. He was the competition’s leading scorer with 22.2 points while also averaging 4.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds before all Russian teams were expelled from the league.
