Galatasaray Nef has signed guard Muhaymin Mustafa to a deal for the upcoming season, the team officially announced Saturday.
Mustafa, 22, spent the previous two seasons with Ionikos Nikaias in the first division of Greece, averaging 8.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 24.2 minutes across 20 games in 2021-22.
The 1999-born Sudanese-Turkish talent already has four years of European competition experience. He played in 7 EuroLeague games with Anadolu Efes in 2017-18, before joining Tofas in EuroCup in 2018-19 and 2019-20.
This past season, he made his FIBA Europe Cup debut with Ionikos and will make his first appearance in the Basketball Champions League with Galatasaray in 2022-23.
