Hapoel Holon joined Galatasaray on top of Group C in Round 2 of the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League

In which was a very tough and balanced game, Hapoel Holon beat Filou Oostende at home 88-83. With this victory, the Israeli team joins Galatasaray on top of Group C with a 2-0 record. The Belgian opponents lost again and joined Legia Warszawa, that lost earlier in the day, at 0-2.

Joe Ragland had an outstanding game, ending with a giant double-double of 31 points and 13 assists.

Chris Johnson (17 p., 7 r.) and Marvin Jones (14 p., 10 r.) contributed, helping Hapoel Holon get the victory despite a 9-men rotation by Guy Goodes.

Breein Tyree was the main scorer for his team, ending with 26 points and 5 assists, while Tre’shawn Thurman performed a solid 22 points display.

The young Dutch talent Keye van der Vuurst de Vries closed with 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists.

After losing the two previous encounters against the Belgians, Hapoel Holon won its first Basketball Champions League game after Filou Oostende. Filou Oostende has now conceded 85+ points in each of its last six away games in the regular season, after conceding 85+ points in only two of the previous 13.
