After a good season with AEK, 32-year-old forward Ian Hamer returns to Turkey where he will compete for the fourth time in his career, this time for Basketball Champions League contender Galatasaray, as the club has officially announced.
Hammer also played for Ankara in 2017, Bandirma in 2020, and Petkim in 2021 but Galatasaray have much higher ambitions aiming for titles both in Turkey and the Basketball Champions League.
Hammer had a remarkable presence with AEK last year, averaging 13.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 1.7 steals.
