The newest Dinamo Sassari addition DeShawn Stephens had once again another good BCL night, but the home side couldn’t have the upper hand against JDA Dijon.

The French team got the 85-72 victory on the road, especially thanks to David Holston. The JDA Dijon’s superstar had 21 points and 5 assists, shooting 5/8 from the perimeter, becoming the eighth-best BCL scorer of all time.

Markis McDuffie, had a great night in his first game against an Italian team since he left Napoli. The American forward ended the game with 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 7/7 from free throws.

He averaged 16 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game in his previous three BCL appearances as a starter.

The new Banco di Sardegna center had 11 points and 8 rebounds, shooting 5/6 from the field.

Jamal Jones and Eimantas Bendzius combined for 31 points.

Nenad Markovic’s team was way better than the home side shooting at the charity stripe (84.21% vs 56.52%) and inside the area (61.76% vs 55.88%). They also had better numbers in points from the bench (25 vs 9).

With this win, JDA Dijon (3-2) secured second place in Group G, just behind an unbeaten Unicaja Malaga (5-0) which already advanced.

At the same time, Dinamo Sassari (1-4) gets closer to elimination. This is their sixth loss in the last eight BCL games against French teams.
