The 39-year-old Turkish shooting guard Sinan Guler is retiring from basketball, ending a 22-year-long career on the court spent only in Turkey.

He started it with Besiktas and he will end it with Darussafaka, but he also wore the jerseys of Anadolu Efes, Galatasaray, and Fenerbahce, winning two Turkish leagues, two Turkish cups, three Turkish super cups, and the 2015-16 EuroCup.

With the Turkish national team, he played 5 EuroBasket (2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017) and 2 World Cups (2010, 2014).

He will be honored with a ceremony before Darussafaka’s clash against Hapoel Jerusalem in the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League, scheduled on December 20.
