The McDuffie-Holston-Hrovat trio pushed the French team against the Greeks

After being down by 6 points at halftime, JDA Bourgogne Dijon had a 30-20 run and secured the 89-80 home win against Peristeri in Game 1 of their Play-Ins series.

Markis McDuffie was the MVP of the game, as the former Napoli forward scored a season-high 27 points, grabbing 7 rebounds and shooting 10/18 FG as well.

David Holston registered the first double-double of his BCL season, scoring 15 points with 12 assists and 4 rebounds. Also, Gregor Hrovat added 18 points and 8 assists with 7/7 FT.

Marcus Denmon and Dimitris Agravanis were the highest scorers on Vassilis Spanoulis’ team. The American had 21 points with 5/7 from deep, while the Greek big scored 22.

Sylvain Francisco wasn’t decisive for his team in his home country, but he still ended the game with 9 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds. Miro Bilan added 18 with 7 boards, becoming the BCL’s all-time leading rebounder.

The winner of this best-of-three series (G2 on 10/01) will face SIG Strasbourg, Hapoel Jerusalem, and whoever gets the upper hand between Hapoel Holon and Igokea in Group I of the Round of 16.
