In Week 2 of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16, Hapoel Jerusalem and SIG Strasbourg got important wins

The Week 2 of the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Round of 16 provided great performances, as usual. In the Best Five of this Gameday provided by Viziball, therefore, there are players who have dragged their respective teams to significant victories.

SIG Strasbourg beat JDA Dijon on the road in the BCL French derby, and both Marcus Keene and Paul Lacombe were important for Luca Banchi’s team. The American had an amazing all-around game with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists, while the number 18 had almost the same stat line, but with 18 points.

There was another derby in this week’s Basketball Champions League games, as Hapoel Jerusalem won 65-63 against Hapoel Holon on the road. Levi Randolph was the highest scorer on the red-and-black side with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 7/9 at the charity stripe.

The other two players in the BCL Best Five are Telekom Baskets Bonn’s Tyson Ward, who had 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists in his team’s victory against BAXI Manresa, and Artem Pustovyi. The Ukrainian center had 23 points and 5 rebounds, shooting 9/10 from the field.
