The French side won at home against Hapoel Holon despite David Holston’s absence

After Hapoel Jerusalem beat SIG Strasbourg on Tuesday, a French side took revenge against another Israeli team, as JDA Bourgogne Dijon got the 89-81 home win against Hapoel Holon.

Without David Holston, Jonathan Rousselle was decisive for the home team with 18 points and 6 assists. David Brembly helped with 22 points and 5 rebounds, shooting 8/12 from the field.

The newest JDA Dijon addition Matt Mobley added 18 points, while Markis McDuffie had 15 points and 7 rebounds.

On the yellow-and-purple side, Joe Ragland was the best player with 15 points and 8 assists. Shawn Dawson followed with 17 points and 7 rebounds in the loss.

Chris Johnson, who made a double-double against Dijon in last year’s Round of 16, had 16 points and 4 rebounds. CJ Harris added 14 points.

For the 2021-22 BCL Final Four fourth classified team, this is the third loss in a row. JDA Dijon, on the other side, reaches both Hapoel Jerusalem and SIG Strasbourg on top of Group I with 5 points and a 2-1 record.
