The protagonist of the most recent BCL Diaries episode is Alberto Diaz. After interviewing guys like DeAndre Lansdowne, Chima Moneke, and Vassilis Spanoulis, the BCL continues the second season of its show with Unicaja‘s leader.
“Basketball is my life, it’s a part of me. Ever since I was a kid, I knew that my dream was to be a professional basketball player”, he said.
Dario Brizuela, who shares the backcourt with him, praised Malaga’s number 9. “He cares a lot about the team, he sacrifices on defense and I think on offense he’s much better than what people think. Being with him is easy”, the Spanish shooting guard said on Alberto Diaz.
After helping Spain win EuroBasket 2022 as one of the best on-the-ball defenders of the whole competition, Alberto Diaz is averaging 3.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists with Unicaja Malaga in the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League.
