After Darussafaka beat Surne Bilbao on Tuesday, UCAM Murcia would have got to the BCL Quarter-Finals by winning against undefeated Lenovo Tenerife. A hard task, which became reality: the home side crushed the reigning champions 82-67 and join them in the next BCL phase.

Travis Trice had one of the best games of his season so far, ending the encounter almost with a double-double of 17 points and 9 assists. If the American was unguardable as the point guard, Artem Pustovyi perfectly did his job under the basket, as the Ukrainian center had 15 points and 8 rebounds.

Txus Vidorreta had nobody on his team ending the game in double-digits, except for Jaime Fernandez (10 pts). Bruno Fitipaldo, Giorgi Shermadini, and Fran Guerra went close, scoring 9 points each. Marcelinho Huertas shared 6 dimes but struggled shooting (2/9 FG).

UCAM Murcia started the game on a high note, leading 27-18 after ten minutes. They went on to dominate the encounter both at the line (90.91% vs 73.91%) and from beyond the arc (42.11% vs 15.38%).

With this victory, both Lenovo Tenerife and UCAM Murcia will advance to the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Quarter-Finals, occupying the first two spots in Group L. Surne Bilbao Basket and Darussafaka Lassa are now eliminated. Losing by a 15-point margin, Tenerife still gets the home-court advantage.
