Changes are coming in the European cups landscape, as Promitheas Patras is set to switch from the EuroCup to the Basketball Champions League in 2023-24, potentially replacing Vassilis Spanoulis’ Peristeri. The former team expressed its interest in participating in next year’s EuroCup, just like Aris.

PAOK, Aris, and Kolossos Rhodes have also declared their interest in participating in next year’s Basketball Champions League. The decision on the teams that will take part in the tournament will be made by FIBA and the BCL by June 23.

The orange-and-white team played in the EuroCup this season, ending the Regular Season as the 4th seed in Group B with an 11-7 record, and being eliminated later on by Prometey in the Quarter-Finals. In the Greek League, instead, they were 5th in the Regular Season before losing to PAOK in the 1st Round of the Playoffs.
