Adding to the busy start to the offseason, UCAM Murcia completed the signing of Dylan Ennis.

Ennis, 31, emerged as the first newcomer ahead of the 2023-24 season for the Universitarios, the team announced Wednesday.

Presenting the deal via social media, Murcia shared a FaceTime conversation between Ennis and his former Casademont Zaragoza teammate Nemanja Radovic brilliantly leading to the decision on the next team of his career.

Radovic, 31, is among the multiple contract extensions confirmed earlier in the summer. The list extends to Jordan Sakho, Thad McFadden, and head coach Sito Alonso.

Slated for a fourth campaign in the Basketball Champions League, Ennis carries the experience of 41 games played in FIBA Europe’s premier club continental competition between Zaragoza and last season’s stint at Galatasaray Nef. Tallying 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per BCL game, his solid showings helped the Lions reach the Round of 16.

The leading player at the domestic level as well, Ennis averaged 17.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest. Galatasaray managed to sneak into the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Playoffs as the eighth seed and went the distance in the best-of-three series against top-seeded Turk Telekom before bowing out.

The Toronto native naturalized Serbian previously played for Gran Canaria and MoraBanc Andorra in Spain’s Liga Endesa, besides tramming up with Radovic at Zaragoza. Other former teams over the lengthy European journey stretch to AS Monaco, Crvena Zvezda mts, and Mega Bemax.
