After parting ways with longtime boss Selcuk Ernak, Darussafaka Lassa hired a new head coach in the form of Yakup Sekizkok.

Sekizkok, 43, spent the last five years working as an assistant under Ergin Ataman at Anadolu Efes, contributing to the back-to-back Turkish Airlines EuroLeague championships in 2021 and 2022. Previous similar gigs stretch from the Turkey senior national team to Galatasaray and Besiktas. The first job as head coach will guide Dacka through a fourth straight campaign in the Basketball Champions League, besides Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi.

A couple of projected BCL Qualifiers participants, Monbus Obradoiro and Kolossos H Hotels also confirmed respective head coaches. Moncho Fernandez, in charge of the Galicia club since 2010, penned a two-year contract extension. In turn, the team based in Rhodes signed Curro Segura to a two-year contract and also declared intentions to play potential home games in Patras, as reported by Eurohoops own Vangelis Ioannou.

Switching to the latest offseasons moves concerning players, Jonathan Baehre penned a contract extension through the next season with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg and PAOK captain Vangelis Margaritis committed for an 11th season at the team based in Thessaloniki. Both the German and Greek clubs are likely to directly enter the Champions League Regular Season.

Meanwhile, Providence product Kalif Young signed a one-year contract to join Anwil Wloclawek. Surne Bilbao, heading to the Qualifiers, inked Swedish Melwin Pantzar to a two-year contract. Another move saw King Wilki Morskie Szczecin re-signing big Kacper Borowski.
