New entries across the Basketball Champions League include experienced point guard David Michineau

A former NBA draft pick in the form of David Michineau made his way to the Basketball Champions League as a late addition for Bursaspor Info Yatirim.

Michineau, 29, is set to debut in the BCL. The French point guard was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 39th overall pick of the 2016 NBA draft but did not convert to playing in the league based in North America. Moving from GeVi Napoli to the Turkish club, he joined Anthony Brown, Ahmet Can Duran, Jordan Floyd, Johnny Hamilton, David Mutaf, Enes Berkay Taskiran, Metin Turen, Omer Utku Al, and Michael Young on the roster for head coach Jure Zdovc.

Coming out of the NCAA with a two-year stint at George Washington on the heels of three years at Connecticut, 23-year-old floor general Brendan Adams penned a one-year contract with VEF Riga to start his professional career. Heading to Group C of the Champions League Regular Season alongside Lenovo Tenerife, Darussafaka Lassa, and a Qualifiers winner, the Latvia champions previously confirmed Dairis Bertans, Rodrigo Bumeisters, Maris Gulbis, and Marcis Vitols for the upcoming season.

In projected moves for Greek teams participating in the Champions League, Promitheas is set to sign 30-year-old forward Linos Chrysikopoulos for the next season, as reported by Eurohoops’ own Stavros Barbarousis. Also, AEK will bring in 31-year-old guard Langston Hall.

Ludwigsburg completes roster, plus PAOK and Igokea

Rookie Ben Vander Plas opted to turn pro with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg. The former NCAA player of Virginia and Ohio inked a contract for the next season with an option for an additional season. The completed squad additionally includes Lenny Anigbata, Jonathan Bahre, Desure Buie, Elijah Childs, Eddy Edigin Jr., Jayvon Graves, Deion Hammond, Jaren Lewis, Jacob Patrick, Johannes Patrick, Dominykas Pleta, Jeff Roberson, and Yorman Polas Bartolo.

On to PAOK mateco, the Thessaloniki outfit reunited with experienced guard Stavros Schizas, a veteran of 15 games played in the BCL, including 14 with PAOK. Nikos Arsenopoulos, Skyler Flatten, Elvar Mar Fridriksson, Michael Gilmore, Andrew Harrison, Vangelis Margaritis, Jamuni McNeace, Aristotelis Sotiriou, Michalis Tsairelis, and Nikos Tsiakmas were already in for play-caller Fotis Takianos.

Meanwhile, Igokea m:tel re-upped 20-year-old guard Srdan Boskovic for two more seasons. Other players on the roster are Edin Atic, Jackie Carmichael, Haris Delalic, Marko Jeremic, Marko Josilo, Dusan Makitan, Nikola Maric, Stefan Moody, and Zoran Nikolic.

Obradoiro picks up Tres Tinkle

Another solid addition for Qualifiers outfit Monbus Obradoiro as Tres Tinkle signed a one-year contract. The Galicia club has also secured the services of Marek Blazevic, Pol Figueras, Ruben Guerrero, Jordan Howard, Sergi Huguet, Rigoberto Mendoza, Alvaro Munoz, Artem Pustovyi, Thomas Scrubb, Alex Suarez, Eric Washington, and Fernando Zurbriggen.

Croatian center Josip Sobin joined Legia Warsaw. The Polish club is preparing for the Qualifiers with Raymond Cowels III, Aric Holman, Michal Kolenda, Grzegorz Kulka, Adam Linowski, Shawn Pipes Jr., Jakub Schenk, Christian Vital, Marcin Wielunski, and Dariusz Wyka.
