By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

Le Mans jumped out to an early lead but ran out of gas as Unicaja took over in the second quarter and stayed in control after the break.

Ending up with an 83-74 victory improved the team coached by Ibon Navarro to 2-0 in Group A of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, only two days after the away win against Baskonia and going up to 3-3 in Spain’s Liga Endesa.

Dylan Osetkowski poured in 12 of his 20 points in the second half.  The 27-year-old forward/center connected 7/13 field goals, including 4/8 triples in Tuesday’s Gameday 2 contest. David Kravish followed with 13 points and eight rebounds. Jonathan Barreiro had 12 points and Kendrick Perry tallied 11 points. Tyler Kalinoski did not suit up and Augusto Lima remained on the injury list.

After falling to 3-5 in France’s Betclic Elite with an overtime loss at home against Cholet on Saturday, Eric Delord’s side was forced down to 1-1 and in a tie with Peristeri bwin in the middle seeds of the four-team group. Team captain Will Yeguete was not available to play in Malaga, Spain. Also, Williams Narace exited with an apparent injury in his right ankle with 5:48 remaining in the third quarter.

Texas native D’Shawn Schwartz recorded 20 points for the French club in Palacio de Deportes Jose Maria Martin Carpena. Fellow American import Selom Mawugbe produced 13 points and nine rebounds plus five blocks.
