When the Basketball Champions League was created back in 2016, Tim Abromaitis already knew how to move around the Canary Islands, having signed with Tenerife the previous year. Now, seven years in the making, he became the All-Time leader for games played in the European competition with 87.
Winning the first-ever edition of the tournament, he was inserted into the Basketball Champions League Star Lineup in 2018-19 after averaging 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in 19 games played.
Starting his overseas career with ASVEL back in 2012, the Notre Dame alumni then went on to play for Strasbourg and Braunschweig, staying with Tenerife from 2015 to 2019. After one season in Saint Petersburg and two with Unicaja Malaga, he came back under Txus Vidorreta in the summer of 2022.
