Rebuilding Darussafaka Lassa completed another signing on Friday.

Brendan Adams is the latest addition to the team coached by Yakup Sekizkok. The 23-year-old point guard penned a contract for the remainder of the 2023-24 season, the team announced.

A former player of Connecticut and George Washington in the NCAA, he launched his professional career in Latvia playing for VEF Riga from the start of the 2023-24 season. Averaging 12.8 points, 5.0 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per contest included a couple of showings against Dacka in Group C of the Regular Season. His previous side falling in Volkswagen Arena in the finale of the double-legged round-robin schedule led to an early exit with the Turkish club instead claiming the third seed and a berth in the Play-Ins.

Moving his talents to the Istanbul outfit, Adams stays in the Champions League, heading to a best-of-three series opposite MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg and an opportunity to reach the Round of 16. More recent additions in the form of Josh Carlton, Tolga Kay, and James Woodard have been placed on the roster alongside remaining Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman, Berk Demir, Doruk Dora, Can Korkmaz, Kilicarslan Senkahya, Janis Timma, Bora Yasar, and Muhsin Yasar.

At the domestic level, Darussafaka sits at 6-7 in a six-way tie stretching from the seventh to the 12th place in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi Regular Season standings. The next game is against Anadolu Efes in Sinan Erdem Dome on Saturday.
