The ideal path from the conclusion of the Regular Season to the tipoff of the Play-Ins in the Basketball Champions League

The selections for the Top 10 Plays of December and the Top 5 Plays of the first week of January were revealed by the Basketball Champions League on Thursday.

Gytis Radzevicius sent Rytas to homecourt advantage in the Play-Ins with a buzzer-beating putback against JDA Dijon to rank first in the Top 10 Plays of December, the last month of the 2023-24 Regular Season. However, Vassilis Spanoulis and Peristeri bwin producing a break in Game 1 took control of the best-of-three series against the team located in Vilnius.

Zoltan Perl of Falco Vulcano Szombathely, Jordan Floyd of Bursaspor Info Yatirim, Pierre-Antoine Gillet of Filou Oostende, Jordan McRae of AEK Betsson, Michael Gilmore of PAOK mateco, Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz of King Wilki Morskie Szczecin, Vernon Carey Jr. of Pinar Karsiyaka, Tidjane Salaun of Cholet, and Speedy Smith of Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem were also featured in the monthly Top 10.

Resurfacing in the Top 5, presented by Lubelskie, Carey dunking sits first. David McCormack saved Galatasaray Ekmas with 7.7 seconds remaining versus Bertram Derthona Tortona and followed second. Gytis Masiulis of Rytas, Caleb Homesley of Tofas, and Elijah Childs of MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg drew third through fifth.

More exciting action coming up as Gameday 2 of the Play-Ins takes over next week. With the eight group winners of the Regular Season waiting for the eight additional teams to earn a second opportunity, the Round of 16 is scheduled to start on January 24.
