After Maroussi, Panionios, Olympiacos, Promitheas, and Panathinaikos – with fast and recent experiences with Napoli and Rio Breogan -, Dimitris Agravanis will play for the sixth Greek team of his career, heading to AEK until the very end of the season.

In only two appearances with Rio Breogan, his latest team, he put up 4.5 points per game. In last year’s Basketball Champions League for Peristeri, instead, he had 11.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, before finishing the season with Panathinaikos in the Greek league.

While bringing in Dimitris Agravanis, the yellow-and-black team also parted ways with Ricky Ledo. The 31-year-old former NBA player didn’t play a single game with Joan Plaza’s team after signing in Athens at the beginning of 2024, potentially replacing Ben McLemore.

So far in the 2023-24 season, AEK dominated Group D of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season with a 5-1 record, getting the ticket for the Round of 16, where they will face UCAM Murcia, Promitheas, and one between Hapoel Holon or Filou Oostende in Group L. In Greece, they’re tied with PAOK in the 6th position with a 6-8 record.
