After both teams won their respective home matches, an intense and tight battle was expected in their Basketball Champions League Play-Ins do-or-die game. However, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg dominated Darussafaka Lassa in another match in front of their fans.

The German side utilized the home-court advantage to secure their place in the Round of 16 and did it in style, winning 99-73 at MHP Arena.

Ludwigsburg, therefore, completed Group J of the next phase and took their spot alongside JDA Dijon, Telekom Baskets Bonn, and Galatasaray Ekmas.

The hosts had a night to remember, shooting the lights out from beyond the arc. They hit a club record in the BCL with 18 triples out of 38 attempts, while Darussafaka had just 6/21 from three. No team scored more three-pointers since Brose Bamberg‘s 21 in 2021.

As usual, Jayvon Graves led the charge, scoring 21 points with eight assists for the winning side. Silas Melson also played a significant role in this crucial match of the BCL Play-Ins, following Graves with 18 points.

Two other players reached double digits, with Yorman Polas and Jeff Roberson each scoring 13 points.

For Darussafaka, Josh Carlton was on the verge of a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman scored 13 points, while Janis Timma added 11.
