A comfortable win for UCAM Murcia set the pace in Group L of the Basketball Champions League.

Sito Alonso’s side marched to a 78-61 victory versus Hapoel Holon in Palacio de los Deportes on Tuesday.

Troy Caupain and Dylan Ennis shared a team-high 16 points in a sixth consecutive double-digit win in the Champions League, after losing to Bertram Derthona Tortona in Gameday 1 of the Regular Season. Senegalese center Moussa Diagne threw in eight points, four rebounds, three steals, and one block with Swedish center Simon Birgander stuck to the injury list.

After two wins in as many meetings during the 2017-18 edition of the Champions League, Murcia collected yet another win opposite the Israeli club in Gameday 1 of the Round of 16.

Following a couple of brief leads in the first quarter, the team coached by Amit Sherf was heavily outmatched in Murcia and fell to 0-1 in the four-team group. Justin Smith and C.J. Harris stood out with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
