After losing at home to MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, JDA Bourgogne Dijon needed a tough win on the road to bounce back in Group J of this year’s Basketball Champions League Round of 16.

Galatasaray dominated the encounter until the very last minutes of the third quarter. However, with an outstanding comeback in the fourth quarter, the French team found the 96-93 victory in the Sinan Erdem Arena.

Allan Dokossi was a dominant force under the rim, getting a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. An experienced point guard like David Holston went also close to a double-double with 15 points and 9 assists, while Leyton Hammonds led his team in scoring with 20 points.

Despite a huge performance by Dee Bost, who had one of the best games since rejoining Galatasaray with 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, the loss still came.

The newest duo composed of David McCormack (21 points) and Klemen Prepelic (14 points and 8 assists) did its best for the Turkish side.

Galatasaray dominated for the vast majority of the encounter, even reaching a 25-point lead at 80-55, but in the fourth quarter, the French side tied the game at 92-92. Missing a crucial shot following Ahmad Caver’s game-winner, Klemen Prepelic couldn’t ultimately give Galatasaray the victory at home
