Heading to the bottom half of the Round of 16 in the Basketball Champions League, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg reinforced the squad on Thursday. Davonta Jordan penned a contract for the remainder of the 2023-24 season, as announced by the team.

Jordan, 26, reunites with former Buffalo teammate Jayvon Graves at the perimeter for the team coached by Josh King. Resurfacing in the BCL following spells with Fribourg Olympic and Balkan Botevgrad in the Qualification Rounds of 2020 and 2022, he moves directly into the Round of 16. His new side at 2-1 in Group J ranks behind defending champion in easyCredit BBL rival Telekom Baskets Bonn.

At 3-0 in Group J at the midway point of the double-legged round-robin schedule, Bonn signed Lars Thiemann for the rest of the season on Wednesday. The 23-year-old German center will join the team coached by Roel Moors to start his professional career in a few weeks, after wrapping up with Loyola Marymount and his last NCAA campaign.

At 0-3, trailing the German clubs and JDA Dijon in Group J, Galatasaray Ekmas inked 19-year-old Turkish forward Karahan Efeoglu to a contract until the end of the 2024-25 season. Combined with the departure of Jonah Radebaugh, the winless record shapes a grim BCL future for the Lions.

Competing in Group K of the Champions League, Lenovo Tenerife announced that Serbian Dusan Ristic will complete the season at Longevida San Pablo Burgos in LEB Oro, the second-tier division of Spain.
