The surprise of the day came from Geneva, where BCL Commissioner Patrick Comninos announced during the competition’s Quarter-Finals draw about this year’s Final Four being in Belgrade.
For the first time in Basketball Champions League history, the Final Four will be organized in Serbia. The semifinals and finals will be played in Stark Arena from 26-28 April.
Yesterday, La Opinion de Malaga reported about the Basketball Champions League organizing the Final Four in Frankfurt. Despite having two German teams in the Quarter-Finals, however, this won’t be the year in which Bonn or Ludwigsburg could eventually play in their own country.
