2022, 2023, and 2024: Lenovo Tenerife managed to make history, qualifying for their third straight Basketball Champions League Final Four by beating Tofas Bursa 78-55 in Game 3 of their best-of-three Quarter-Finals series.

Marcelinho Huertas stole the show once again by dropping a double-double of 13 points and 10 assists, potentially putting the ice on the cake in Belgrade. Coming back to action after almost three months of absence, Sasu Salin made his presence felt with 12 points over 4/6 from deep.

Scoring 25 or more points in each of his previous five Basketball Champions League games since joining Lenovo Tenerife, Kyle Guy struggled from deep (1/7) but contributed to his team’s win with 10 points.

Coming off the bench, Ege Demir had 11 points. On Tofas Bursa’s side, both Cassius Winston and Marcus Denmon couldn’t contribute to their team’s success on the road in Tenerife, scoring only 7 points each. Austin Wiley went close to a double-double with 6 points and 8 rebounds.

After already facing them in the Round of 16 this season, Lenovo Tenerife will meet with Peristeri in the Basketball Champions League Semi-Finals. So far this year the teams have split successes, respectively winning 89-68 in Tenerife and 90-82 in Athens.
