On the week of the BCL Final Four Peristeri’s center Trevor Thompson was in the center of controversy about nothing as it officially turned out.
During the latest round of the Greek league between Panathinaikos and Peristeri on Friday 19th of April, Thompson was wanted by the Greek police after his partner accused him of domestic violence.
However, all accusations were dropped by his long time girlfriend and also basketball player in less than 48 hours.
As leaked by authoritative sources, there are three main parts in a new testimony filed by Trevor Thompson’s partner on Sunday after the initial accusations made on Friday. First off she testify that in her first report, there was a misunderstanding and she tried to explain to the authorities from Friday that she did not want charges to be pressed against her partner.
She also made it clear that Trevor Thompson has never exhibited violent behavior in the four years they have been in a relationship. Moreover, no incident has ever happened between them in the past.
At the moment, while Peristeri is preparing for the Basketball Champions League Final Four, where they will face Tenerife in the Semi-Finals, it remains to be seen whether Trevor Thompson will react, as he has the legal right to.
