The MVP recipient was announced during the annual Awards Ceremony of the Champions League with Theo Papaloukas presenting Huertas his latest BCL trophy on Saturday.

The event was held in the Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center of Athens, amid the Final Four powered by Sunel in Sunel Arena.

Pushing La Laguna Tenerife to a perfect 14-0 season record until a losing effort against Galatasaray in the Semifinals of the Final Four powered by Sunel on Friday, the ageless Brazilian combo guard tallied 16.5 points and 6.9 assists per contest over 11 appearances en route to a second straight BCL MVP award.
