For the vast majority of the 2024-25 season, Manisa Basket was mainly dragged in Turkiye and in the Basketball Champions League by two of the team’s American players: Saben Lee and Fabian White.
While the first one joined Olympiacos and eventually played in the EuroLeague Final Four in Abu Dhabi, the second one will now leave the Turkish team as well, but to stay in the country.
According to Eurohoops sources, the American forward has reached a full agreement with Galatasaray, reinforcing the yellow-and-red Turkish powerhouse.
Averaging 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in the 2024-25 season in the Basketball Champions League, Fabian White Jr. was one of the best players in the whole competition.
In two games played against Galatasaray during the Round of 16, he collected on average 22 points and 6.5 rebounds. Overall, Manisa couldn’t advance through such a stage, while the team from Istanbul not only reached the Quarter-Finals, but beat ERA Nymburk to make it to the BCL Final Four.
Galatasaray has also finalized a deal with Christian Bishop (25, 2,01) from Nymburk. The information about the impending signing was first reported by Turkish reporter Eski Açık.
Bishop averaged 11.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game this season.
