Claudell Harris Jr. penned a two-year contract with Promitheas Vikos Cola, the team announced on Monday. The newcomer was later registered to the Basketball Champions League squad, making him eligible to play against Legia Warszawa in Patras’ Dimitris Tofalos Arena on Wednesday evening.

The 23-year-old American guard recently started his professional career in Finland with Salon Vilpas, averaging 20.0 points, 5.5 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 0.3 steals, and 0.3 blocks per contest over six Korisliiga games in October. Between 2021 and 2024 in the NCAA, he suited up for Mississippi State, Boston, and Charleston Southern.

Completing the BCL jump, he meets the team coached by Giorgos Limniatis at 2-1 in Group A of the Regular Season, tied with Rytas on top of the four-team group and one game ahead of Legia and MLP Academics Heidelberg. The top seed progresses directly to the Round of 16, with the next two getting a second opportunity in a best-of-three Play-In series.

Sitting 2-1 in Group G, Mersin Spor parted ways with Deniz Kilicli on Wednesday. The 35-year-old Turkish forward made two appearances in the 2025-26 season, with his total, combined with his spell with Pinar Karsiyaka, growing to ten. His next stop is with Cayirova Belediye in the second-tier division of Turkiye.

The Turkish club also updated the status of Hakan Sayili, officially sidelining the 25-year-old Turkish forward after shoulder surgery.

Can Sevim’s side will resume the continental campaign next Wednesday, hosting back-to-back champion Unicaja in Mersin’s Servet Tazegul Arena.
