Italian side Varese officially announced the signing of American guard Hunter Hale on a multi-year contract, while Spanish powerhouse Unicaja confirmed the arrival of Cameron Hunt on a two-year deal from Joventut.

Hale, 28, arrives in Varese after spending last season with Bahçeşehir, where he helped the Turkish club reach the EuroCup semifinals. The former Borac Čačak standout also enjoyed productive spells with Promitheas and AEK Athens, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most dangerous offensive guards. Last season, he averaged 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the EuroCup.

Meanwhile, Unicaja secured one of the top scorers from the Liga Endesa by signing Hunt. The 28-year-old combo guard averaged 15.6 points, 2.9 assists and 1.7 rebounds for Joventut last season, shooting 40.7% from beyond the arc. He also posted 13.3 points per game in the Basketball Champions League, further strengthening his reputation as one of the league’s premier perimeter scorers.

Both clubs emphasized the players’ offensive versatility, shot creation and experience at the European level, expecting them to play key roles in their ambitions for the 2026-27 campaign.
