Although he signed a three-year contract with Aris in January, Noua is close to leaving Greece

Unicaja Malaga has an agreement with Amine Noua, the French forward who played for Aris, for a two-year contract.

According to the “laopiniondemalaga”, the 29-year-old French forward (2.02) of Aris was on Unicaja‘s radar; however, the consent of the Thessaloniki club was also required for the transfer to be completed.

The Spanish club confirmed the deal on the 30th of July.

The French forward and Aris had signed a new three-year contract in January, as Noua was having a very good season and Aris wanted to secure his services.

However, in the meantime, things have changed. Vassilis Spanoulis has taken over as the coach of Aris, and the Greek team has signed several players in the positions that Noua plays, so the Frenchman is convinced that he will not have a prominent role.

Noua had a “Euroleague-out” clause until July 15, but nothing happened until then. However, things changed, and Aris did not object to the move.

Meanwhile, Varese got a boost in the frontline by signing Ismael Kamagate with a multi-year deal.

The 46th pick of the 2022 NBA draft played last season for Besiktas. Kamagate (25, 2.11) has also played for Paris, Milan and Derthona, having EuroLeague experience.
