The Basketball Champions League teams have been highly active in the transfer market over the past week, shaping their rosters with acquisitions and extensions ahead of the 2026–27 Regular Season and Qualification Rounds.
In Group A, Nanterre 92 welcomed 24-year-old J’Wan Roberts to their camp, while the defending champion Rytas strengthened their title defense by locking down 26-year-old Michael Devoe on a one-year deal. Group H contenders went from Telekom Baskets Bonn finalizing their lineup by reuniting with former champion Leon Kratzer and elevating 24-year-old Aleksa Kovacevic to the senior unit to Porto making major waves by landing Childe Dundao, retaining Corey Allen, and securing reunions with both Xeyrius Williams and Andre Bessa.
Group G action is also heating up, as ALBA Berlin solidified their long-term core by announcing a three-year contract extension with veteran guard Martin Hermannsson. Fellow pool member Slavia Prague ERA NBK matched that stability by retaining Frantisek Rylich and reinforcing their depth with the additions of Travis Harper II, Nana Owusu-Anane, and Patrick Samoura.
In Group D, Openjobmetis Varese acquired 26-year-old David Duke Jr., who brings the experience of 50 NBA games to Italy. Also, BMA365 Bamberg Baskets wrapped up their offseason business by securing Hason Ward. Not to be outdone, fellow segment competitor Peristeri Betsson executed a comprehensive series of moves, re-engaging 28-year-old Will Carius and 30-year-old Ty Nichols, injecting youth via 23-year-old Grace Ngindu and 24-year-old Alexandros Nikolaidis, and promoting 18-year-old prospect Alexandros Thomakos to the premier squad.
Heading into Group B, Cibona showed faith in Jan Palokaj by penning a contract extension while he recovers from a serious injury, alongside the notable recruitment of Khalif Battle, while Legia Warszawa also fortified their lineup by onboarding Michael Christmas and Zach Freemantle. In Group C, Windrose Giants Antwerp concluded their summer business by securing 25-year-old Nijel Pack. They will face a re-tooled Falco Szombathely, who preserved Patrick Whelan and added Juwan Gray, as well as AEK, who infused youth into their ranks with 18-year-old Vassilis Chartonas.
Looking at Group F, Spartak Office Shoes bolstered their defensive presence with Stefan Lazarevic, while Hapoel Holon tabbed Brandon Johns Jr. to anchor their frontcourt. In Group E, Juventus made a singular but impactful statement by securing Tevian Jones on a one-year agreement.
In the Qualifiers, Benfica made a major declaration by appointing Ainars Bagatskis as their new tactical mastermind, bringing in Brandon Slater, and retaining domestic core pieces Diogo Gameiro and Eduardo Francisco. Vienna executed a sweeping overhaul by picking up Grant Sherfield, Bogdan Zimonjic, Luka Kures, Nikola Jovanovic, Aleksandar Langovic, R.J. Gunn Jr., and Aleksa Novakovic.
Other qualification contenders finalized their setups as Patrioti Levice rounded out their campaign options with Chuba Ohams, and Bakken Bears added the tandem of Jarmel Rancy and Myles Corey. Lions de Geneve strengthened their roster with Kevin Kalu, Corey Floyd Jr., and Toni Rocak, while the newly rebranded Manchester Basketball signed Luke Nelson, Elijah Walsh, Charlie Williams, and Keon Thompson, alongside returning star Jordan Johnson.
Elsewhere, the Landau Lions welcomed Ed Polite Jr. while extending the stays of Nijat Mammadli and Saadettin Donat. Landstede Hammers brought in the trio of Isaac Abidde, Jasper Olsthoorn, and Sam van Oostrum, with VEF Riga focusing on a mix of impact and youth by securing Jordan Sears alongside prospects Ralfs Aleksandrovs and Arturs Ozols.
Dziki Warszawa adjusted their plans late, pivoting to sign Austin Luke to a two-year deal after injury forced a parting of ways with fellow newcomer Ta’Lon Cooper. Finally, Kolossos H Hotels Collection injected proven experience into their backcourt with C.J. Harris, and Yukatel Merkezefendi prioritized leadership stability by penning head coach Zafer Aktas to a fresh two-year contract extension.
