With the Regular Season of the Basketball Champions League underway, several teams continue to reshape their rosters, moving deeper into the six-game double-legged round-robin schedule.
On Monday, Trabzonspor parted ways with 30-year-old Troy Caupain, freeing the guard to secure a reunion with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia.
This move switches the experienced playmaker from Group A to Group E, where he finalized a contract running through the 2026–27 season.
Caupain returns to Italy packing 56 BCL games, including 11.7 points per contest over three appearances this season. He joins a team coached by Dimitris Priftis holding a 1–1 record, en route to a meeting with Unicaja in Malaga on Tuesday
With several of his new teammates currently dealing with injuries, leaving the backcourt particularly depleted, Caupain immediately reinforces the rotation. He steps into a roster that features Jaylen Barford, Jaime Echenique, Rob Edwards, Elhadji Fainke, Luca Manfredotti, Derek Ogbeide, Riccardo Rossato, Luca Severini, Speedy Smith, JT Thor, Lorenzo Uglietti, Riccardo Visconti, and Tomas Woldetensae.
🚨 Vilppaan takakentälle sähäkkä Rob Martin!
178-senttisessä Rob Martinissa on paljon samaa kuin alkukaudella sensaatiomaisesti pelanneessa Leland Walkerissa eli nopeutta ja sähäkkyyttä riittää!

Seeking to spark their own continental campaign, Salon Vilpas answered on Friday by announcing the signing of 1.78-meter guard Rob Martin. The 22-year-old newcomer steps into his first professional contract as a replacement for departing Leland Walker. He enters a demanding environment, as the Finnish club sits at 0–2 in Group C before hosting Windrose Giants Antwerp in Turku on Tuesday.
Head coach Jussi Savolainen will task the St. Louis native with adjusting quickly alongside Mikael Aalto, Karl Chavis, Jarred Godfrey, Benjamin Granstrom, Eero Innamaa, D.J. Jeffries, Mikko Koivisto, Aamos Laavainen, Riku Laine, Sebastian Lindberg, and Simeon Stefanovic.
