The 26-year-old point guard previously played for Ludwigsburg in 2014/2015. After he left the German club he played in France with Rouen and Poland with Dabrowa Gorzinzca.

With the latter, he averaged 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 rebounds per game. These performances brought him back to the German League and Ludwigsburg.

“I’m happy we brought back Johnson. He knows our system and we had success with him in the past,” said Ludwigsburg head coach John Patrick.

Next season Johnson will also make his debut in the Basketball Champions League.
