Two free throws secured the victory for the guests and gave Pinar Karsiyaka their first victory of the season in the Basketball Champions League (87-88).
Despite Levi Randolph’s effort, who finished with 27 points, the Italian squad couldn’t get the win in a game where neither of the sides was able to lead by double-digits.
The star: Jarrod Jones was unstoppable. He finished as the leading scorer with 29 points (12/16 FG) and also grabbed 9 rebounds. Kennedy did a great job with a double-double (16+10 boards), while Waters added 13 points and 9 assists.
The key: With the game on the verge and 3 seconds remaining, Scott Wood made two free throws to put his team in front.
