Zielona Gora led almost for the entire game and managed to get the 73 – 69 win. In fact, Bonn couldn’t win any of the four periods until the last one (18 – 25) when they got closer, but couldn’t “steal” the game.
Dragicevic and Savovic combined for 28 points (14 each) while Koszarek completed a solid performance with 8 boards and 5 assists despite he only scored 3 points.
The star: Malcolm Hill tried the mount a comeback all by his own, but it wasn’t enough. He dropped 28 points shooting almost 70% from the field. He did everything he could for Bonn.
The key: 9/13 shits behind the arc for the hosts. An impressive 69% accuracy in threes to get their first victory of the competition.
