It wasn’t easy at all, but Bayreuth got the road win in Ljubljana against Olimpija (90 – 77). The German team improved to a perfect 3-0 while the Slovenians are winless.

Gabe York was really effective in the first half  (5 of 7 from beyond the arc) and led Bayreuth to a ten point advantage (50 – 40).

Olimpija tried unsuccessfully to come back despite been close in the third quarter (59 – 55, 26′). The Slovenians were led by Devin Oliver who had 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The key: An 11 – 0 run for Bayreuth commanded by Gabe York starting the second quarter was decisive. Olimpija couldn’t get the lead since that point.

The star: Definitely York’s shooting performance made all the difference. The point guard finished with 25 points and seven three-pointers.
