The Polish team prevailed against Avellino 90-79 at home.  After the slow start and trailing 21-19 after the first quarter the hosts took the lead and kept it until the end. The coach Artur Gronek was more than happy with his second unit as they outscored Avellino’s bench by 23 (43-20).

The Italians were able to close the gap and cut the lead to 5 points with 3:30 left on the clock in the last quarter, but that is the most they could do tonight.

The Key: The home team used halftime break well as they outscored their opponent 22-15 in the quarter number three.

The Star: Vladimir Dragicevic was the man for the Zielona Gora as he almost grabbed double-double. He finished the match with 23 points and 8 rebounds which was enough for 28 in PIR.

Both teams now standing with a 2-2 record.
